I would like to see Gab take over the Twitter space. Parler comes across as they're trying to fit the LinkedIn type space, which is fine to me, but Twitter offers that anonymity that I think is a bit more of the internet's version of the public square.
I think both serve a good purpose and I do think both should exist but Gab feels like a more true successor to what Twitter is than Parler (not knowing too much about them).
