We Need Your Testimony Dear Friends,

We have been working with government/legal organizations that are planning to challenge the ICE memo in courts. We wanted to thank you for sharing your testimonies and your stories with us. We will keep your testimonies anonymous if you have requested us to do so.

But we are contacting you because we need testimonies in specific areas. We need testimonies focusing on: a) students who are close to attaining their degree; b) students who are engaged (to the extent permissible by their visa status) on the frontlines of the COVID pandemic; and c) students who are involved in significant student projects, in the area of medicine, science, community engagement, etc., who, if unable to continue this work, will have a significant detrimental impact on California as a whole.

We would urge you to focus your testimony on the significant and immediate effect of this ICE memo on your life, but also to focus on the larger context of how your research and/or academic work adds value to California and will be impacted negatively by the ICE memo.
