If burning a rainbow flag is a hate crime, burning the US flag should be a hate crime as well. If your argument is, well gay people are a protected class, a specific nationality should be a protected class as well. My argument would be that by burning the US flag, they’re attempting to intimidate Americans, therefore making it a hate crime to burn our beautiful flag.
