Because Lady Antebellum holds an uncontested trademark to Lady A. Trademark is rule of law.

Lady Antebellum, also tried to work with that greedy bitch. She wanted $10MM to use a trademark they OWN. They were going to write a song with her, so she could get more publicity than she's had her entire life... but no... greed.

So this is what she gets. BIG, FAT, NOTHING.
