Once Flynn case is officially dismissed we can start making deep state arrest, that's why they are doing everything in their power to stall past the election.

A pardon would end it. A well done strategic play to let the prosecution collapse on itself. A pardon would've been premature if done before that. I think now is a good time...what do I know...I am sure there is crazy strategy going on behind the scenes. What an f'd up situation.

Yes, it would appear so. Sessions genuinely fooled Trump and many others during the 2016 election whereas by the time he appointed Barr, I think he realized that McConnell would never confirm a real AG and that his options were limited.
