Simply put, politics - especially todays politics - are toxic. The ideals and goals of the left are to demoralize and gaslight all opposition. Many do not want to subject themselves to this. Another reason is because we are not politicians, we are not political activists, we spend our time and energy focusing on our own lifes path. It is these two reasons - which reinforce each other - that keep the majority silent.

Being that I am not a career politician imagine the following.. I am in a public setting in big group of people arguing politics and the leftist backs my arguments into a corner. Does that help or hurt our cause? They use so many cheap scripted tactics that I could see this easily happening. Its not always about being a big brave boy/girl.
If a leftist can beat your arguments, you have a lot of studying to do. They should resort to name calling within 2 sentences.
