I just finished a conversation with my boss' boss, telling me (as nice as he can) to make all my facebook posts both future and past as hidden as possible.

When I asked why, he made it clear. People are having their lives ruined by posting a maga hat and he was looking out for my best interests.

I work for a fortune 500 company, multi-national and my position is pretty damned important (only about 10 people are in my position in a huge multi-national company) and my boss' boss is warning me against having my whole life destroyed.

I can't tell if I should be mad, sad, or terrified.

D: None of the above.

The bosses boss gave you a career tip. GTF off all of it NOW.

And find a new job that won't give you subtle hints that you'll be fired for supporting your president.

The boss is a silent majority. Says nothing and shows up at the polls. Trying to help this guy keep his job. If he where a SJW he wouldn’t have gotten a warning.

Bosses being silent instead of defending the people working for them when they haven't done anything wrong is how we got here in the first place.

Associates of Ghislaine Maxwell and Hillary Clinton being on the board of directors is why bosses and their employees in Fortune 500s learn to keep their opinions to themselves if they have a family depending on that paycheck.
