I just finished a conversation with my boss' boss, telling me (as nice as he can) to make all my facebook posts both future and past as hidden as possible.
When I asked why, he made it clear. People are having their lives ruined by posting a maga hat and he was looking out for my best interests.
I work for a fortune 500 company, multi-national and my position is pretty damned important (only about 10 people are in my position in a huge multi-national company) and my boss' boss is warning me against having my whole life destroyed.
I can't tell if I should be mad, sad, or terrified.
I work for a large non-profit organization & an email was just sent by our CEO that warned employees about posting on their social media accounts. Basically said we represent the company, therefore our beliefs should be alignment & support the company’s beliefs.
It’s serious as they recently fired a worker because she posted something against BLM on her Facebook account.
Looked further into our company & discovered that a board member is an ex-Democratic Assembly woman. In addition, 95% of “indirect donations” have been given to the Democrat Party.
