Not a big fan of using emotional arguments like "omgosh how will this affect things" The same arguments are used to try to impact the gun debate. The treaties, laws, and constitution of the US is binding. Theft happened on a massive scale as greedy parties broke the laws and treaties of the US to steal from others. Just like they do today.
