Floyd tells officers “I can’t breathe” and “I want to lay on the ground” a couple of times. Lane eventually responds with “get him on the ground”. Prior to getting Floyd to the ground he says he can’t breathe multiple times.
Why was Floyd saying he can't breathe when he was in the back of the squad car?
