The best part about this site is, there are NO ADVERTISEMENTS and so it's impossible for them to figure out where this site's funding is coming from. We Are Uncancellable!!!

I've tried throwing money at them a couple times for their efforts but no response ever given. I respect that. Can't be beholden to anyone if you do it all your self.

It’s the small things and attention to detail that make the brilliance of the admins / mods / devs behind .win apparent to me. Nothing about this site or the network of sites feels like a “weekend project”, rather everything feels very carefully planned and deliberate. They aren’t trying to expand too quickly, they aren’t trying to do and be everything, they’re just focusing on making it great (again).

I really hope the mods got it financially covered.

I'm very very broke buy I will send the mods 5 bucks in an envelope if they say they could use the help 😂 if a bunch of us do that, the finances will be covered to keep this place up and running for sure

I would like to donate to the site. With Patreon or something.

I highly suspect that the funding comes from a public figure that we would all know. Who that is I can't speculate. But they obviously have very deep pockets.

For a mostly-text site like this, they probably can do it for $1000/month or even $100/month, IF they designed the site intelligently.

Cloudflare is just $20/month for the Pro plan.

A lot of people say that a team of a few competent people could clone sites like FB/Twitter/Reddit in a short period of time. The hard part is attracting an audience.
