Yesterday i spent way to much time trying to remove MLKLogger and all MLK spyware off my phone . my phone came with mediatek. From what I read this comes oreinstalled from factory. But the MLK logger and daemon captures audio, video, a folder full of logs. It has crippled my phone to a snails pace. The massive amount of storage space the log files take was alittle over 7p% of my overall storage. I can not even take a 640x480 picture without deleteong alot of apps and sich. Was on xda alot yesterday and tonight. Sloely dismantling all the tentacles it has latched on. Feel like Im battling the android swamp. Anyone have success permanently removing mlk logger, mlk thermal, mlk daemon, carrier hub and all of the other bullshit. This is a chinese made app (mediatek) and so is the spyware mlk daemon suite . funny how Chinese red hats made such a powerful set of spying tools which comes factory installed on 80% of android and iphones. I wish iphone let you have the full freebsd os to control and modify the files and registry. Hell add xwindows and ssh login capabilities with full permission.

There's a company called Purism that makes some really secure laptops and phones that run on Linux. They are an American company that makes stuff in America. They have the entire hardware and software checked to make sure nothing can snoop or track you. Be warned - their phone costs 1999 dollars.

The Chinese manufacturers all have that spyware. You need to get an Android phone made by Korean, Japanese, or American manufacturers. The iPhone also doesn't have Chinese spyware.

That is nice to know. I am definetly going to uograde my phone. That MLK Logger is oretty damn cleaver. In the 90s when my group would find a remote exploit the issue was how many backdoors can we open up . This mediatek is like the windows os for android. we could only imagine the possiblities of hacking a *nix machine with and hacking its kernel. This is a whole new level right here. If I have noticed it then it makes me believe its been around for a good 5-7years.
