You’re right, freedom of speech is freedom of speech. I guess it’s just jarring to see because Reddit would just banhammer any and every one and I’m legitimately surprised to see that were indeed actual racists in our midsts. Le sigh.
I'm a former democrat and I believed the stuff they said in 2016 about Trump supporters hiding bigotry. But in 2017 I saw how much the Democrats would rather punt problems down the road instead of working with Republicans that I reached a threshold. Then as they embraced Identity Politics more its been ever more of a mess.
When I started browsing T_D I thought it was a little out there at first and then just started laughing because its a lot of South Park humor. If you want to see what Nazis talk about just see Voat. 8chan when it was around was for the dregs of humanity. The folks from Voat like to come here with posts on White populations declining to try to push people over the edge. Our national conversation isn't helping and it needs to be resisted.
