I just meant... they’re making us wear masks. They’re mandating them in a lot of places. You could see fines, job loss and jail time for refusing. Why is this being accepted for the most part agreeably?
They could mandate we all wear devices to track our blood sugar. They could mandate we all wear alcohol consumption detection devices. They could mandate your girlfriend or wife has an abortion. It’s a slippery slope mandating anything in our “free society.” We should have a choice. We USED to have a choice. I have no real problem wearing masks if it were my choice, even though I think a shitty piece of fabric, filled with germs from me adjusting it all day, strapped across my face, causing me to rebreathe my own co2- is a terrible idea!
I’ve also had a big problem with the mandatory lockdown. The elderly or infirm should have been told “stay home if you’re worried about getting sick and we’ve got your back, will bring you food etc” and the rest of us allowed to carry on. That’s what we did for H1N1. Nobody remembers it. How did it help hiding from a virus when our borders are still pretty porous and we’re eventually (like right now) going to be exposed to it. We could lock everything down and one person traveling home from abroad could infect thousands. How did it help ruining businesses? Having people lose their jobs? Kids staying home from school? I know a lot of people who lost their jobs. How did it help taking away forms of exercise in gyms that give people like me and many, many other former military some relief from a myriad of problems?
I’m just saying- we used to have a choice. We don’t anymore.

Lol, the very same leftists who scream about defunding the police also somehow want mandates for people to wear masks. The cognitive dissonance there is something that needs to be studied in a lab.
This one in particular is extraordinarily frightening. It's forces everybody to make themselves a faceless NPC. And somehow, not a single voice questions the practicality of such mandatory order in hot, humid weather conditions. Personally I'd rather breathe free in jail than passing out in the heat outside.

There was that reporter immediately pulled off her mask when she thought the presser was over and the camera was off; there was a guy lowered his mask to sneeze, then put it back on afterwards; then there was sleepy Joe with his mask hanging around his chin while he was in an interview. They knew this piece of cloth is just for show. They intend to shame you into submission.
I complain to coworkers it’s impossible to breath wearing the now mandatory mask at work. Forget just the hot and humid weather. Toss in a hot kitchen in a restaurant.
Sadly, I’ll have to wear one (especially an N95 my dad ordered) due to my compromised Immune system. Gotta take Immunosuppresant drugs every other day...
