This is why they're all trying to stop Trump.

It's the modern day slave owners, rights grabbers, and tyrants all over again.

If we had a modicum of the self respect and balls of our forefathers, there would be a lot of well deserving people finding themselves on the wrong end of ropes.

Agreed. I used to love rap music but as I've grown I've come to acknowledge its roots in ignorance, hate and immaturity. That generalizing all of Hip Hop, because there are some good rappers and songs out there. However, the majority of rappers and rap songs have no motivating substance. Its all a gangster, criminal, don't fuck with me, money, guns, bitches, fuck cops, my homies mentality.

Maybe one day rap can become more influenced again by Jazz, Blues and Rock. In its current form, this art called rap and hip hop is a disastrous trap for the youth and ignorant adults.

A whole lot of us while grew up on rap fell this way. It’s destructive as fuck to young minds, especially fatherless young minds. Which is why the music corporations push it soo hard.

It's meant to keep people stupid. But it's all they got to promote any more, rock has been dead for a long time and is too expensive to produce.

10
CuomoisaMassMurderer 10 points ago +10 / -0

Anyone with a modicum of sense realizes rap is crap. "Rock is too expensive to produce" is no excuse. Try an orchestra!

13
RevDrEBuzzMiller 13 points ago +13 / -0

Greed defines the music industry, rap is cheap as hell to make, rock requires studio time and musicians that can play and promotion and radio and all that.

Rap is consumed by morons who don't give a shit about quality. Written by a ghost writer who just churns it out.

Can you even imagine libraries full of books whose text consisted of rap lyrics? Maybe some stylized illustrations of the 'action parts'. Or fun pop-ups when you open the page of money and guns and hos?

Better yet, imagine a rap song inspired by The Enigma of Amigara Fault MANGA

6
doodaddy 6 points ago +6 / -0

Right. I bet I'm a little older than you because by the time Snoopy Dog was making rap, I was in my 20s and old enough to see it as pathetic. The songs I heard were him whining that women didn't want his boring, stoned ass. So he called them lesbians and hoes. And fantasized about hating cops who were just doing what Biden (and Gore) asked them to.

The equivalent for me might be 80s movies, where I was too young to see them as sad bravado. Men shooting guns perfectly and boring people getting the prettiest girl because they wanted to and girls could do no wrong. (Of course there still making those movies but as "super heroes.")

Sorry to highjack, but this seems like the best opportunity to ask...what music artists do you 'pedes like? I've been dying for new music but everything out there is liberal degeneracy. Any artists I(we) should check out? Deftones are my favorite band and (so far) they have done a great job of keeping politics out of their music. I'm hoping that when the .win network expands there will be places for us to discuss 'pede-friendly media like films, music, books, ect.

And speaking of hip-hop, Immortal Technique, Talib Kweli and Mos Def (or whatever his name is now) crack me up watching them appease to their lefty massas. I've loved Kanye since before his car accident and watched as the people around me went from loving his music to calling it garbage. Hilarious.

Check out Spotify's Every Noise At Once project (http://everynoise.com/). Click on the List as well to get a master list of all their genres and subgenres (thousands of them). Play around with the site and features and explore.

Recently I've been enjoying Mumford & Sons; Jamey Johnson; Breaking Benjamin; bunch of RetroWave music; Chris Botti jazz; some Post-Rock music like God Is An Astronaut and Explosions In The Sky; Muse; Thievery Corporation chillout; 3 Doors Down; Royal Blood; Rebelution reggae; Blank & Jones chill; and a lot of jazz and classical scores like composers such as Max Richter and Thomas Bergersen.

I listened to old school rap back in the 80s, NWA, Public Enemy, Eric B and Rakim, Run DMC, and of course beasties, but I haven't kept up because honestly I feel the soul has been sucked out of it. Some George Clinton and Parliament too, but I don't know if that qualifies.

Not all rap is degenerate - watch Lupe Fiasco show how modern gangsta rappers are the same as old-time blackface - it’s a fake persona these rappers put on - powerful video and actually a good song about how degenerate black culture is at least partly the result of false images and negative role models pushed by the rap industry https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=emb_title&v=C3m3t_PxiUI

The tragedy is I only have one upvote to give.

When you are racist yourself, you don't see this. You think that caricature is real because you have no actual real black people in your life that you care about. And of course, the clowns know how to monetize this caricature.

15
fartglove 15 points ago +16 / -1

"Racism is not dead, but it is on life support — kept alive by politicians, race hustlers and people who get a sense of superiority by denouncing others as 'racists.'" - Thomas Sowell

8
GodSaveTheWest 8 points ago +8 / -0

Sounds like anecdotal evidence. FBI crime stats say otherwise. Its pretty damn real for quite a bit of black youth.

27% of all crime, 53% of murders, 54% of robberies, 29% of estimated rapes, Black community has a crime problem and in order for it to be fixed you have to be honest about it. "i have black friends that are cool" doesnt mean problems dont exist.

7
BigFreedomBoner 7 points ago +7 / -0

You might now understand me. What I am saying is that black (and white) artists use the thug image to sell their shit. And then yes, that does influence more black crime do kids know it is an act? Now they think that is THE legit way to be. And then you correctly note some key stats on how bad black criminality is - the gangster shit clearly has an influence.

Recall the Saturday Night Fever was all made up. There were no disco moves like that. Disco wasn't even a thing, ffs. But amazingly everyone acted like that was the only way to do when it was clear there was only one influence.

2
Kekinit 2 points ago +2 / -0

Ironically, woke pan queen Janelle Monae tweeted about this last week. How all this shit needs to stop, blah blah blah. They are fucking eating their own now and it’s great to watch. What I’ve learned from the woke crowd is that they are a bunch of weak minded individuals that cannot take any criticism of any kind. Everything is a micro aggression and they think they can just magically disappear all bad evil thoughts in the world. They are fucking horrible and people like them should never have any power.

1
GodSaveTheWest 1 point ago +1 / -0

I mean at this point id say a lot of these rappers definitely did crime at some point and then got out of it by becoming a rapper.

The question is does their culture dictate the music, or does the music dictate the culture.

What they rap about and portray is black people in america. If they as a community changed their ways and fixed themselves maybe the music would change aswell. If it stayed the same then it absolutely would be 100% fake.

11
matt 11 points ago +13 / -2

Damn, I love you for this, pede. I have loved smart hip hop and felt for the black community since I was a teenager for this very reason. Held captive by the very people they THINK are there to help them. It’s fucking heartbreaking. They deserve better.

10
FiatLux 10 points ago +11 / -1

Glad you liked it - I especially love how he shows how fake the whole gangsta personality is - essentially the same as a clown, acting a part. There is some kind of conspiracy theory that gangsta rap was started by some shady people to help fill the for profit prisons - there was a time when hip hop was positive and uplifting, now it’s just blackface

3
Dang 3 points ago +3 / -0

Why arent more people in their community saying what Lupe says in that song?

8
stratocaster_patriot 8 points ago +8 / -0

Case in point, Snoop Dog. Total pussy that people believe is hard as fuck. It's an act. In a fair fist fight most of us would have him crying for his mother.

I agree that some hip-hop is great. To your point, Reggie Watts also has a great song where he makes fun of black gangster culture in rap. "You take some shit, you take some fuck, you got a fuck shit stack, a fuck shit stack come on."

There’s money in the equation somewhere, at least they think there is. Under socialism the rich would get even richer and only us normies would suffer. How else would it make sense that rich movie stars would support it. Capitalism made them money, but Socialism would make them gods.

17
Imransgarage 17 points ago +17 / -0

Read the story of brooks brothers, they got bought out, went woke af, and just went bankrupt.

10
IslamObamaWigwam1 10 points ago +10 / -0

Yeah, they think there’s money in it, and from a business point of view it would seem to make sense to at least avoid offending groups of people, because everyone is a potential customer, but what they don’t seem to grasp is that most people are annoyed by the constant obnoxious, disingenuous virtue signaling.

But what I’m also trying to say is that if the country would go totally socialist/ communist, there would be, like, tax incentives or breaks or something for these woke companies/ people. There’s money in it for them somewhere, otherwise they wouldn’t be encouraging it, they’d just sell me their damn products and then shut the fuck up about their morals.

14
Leatherwood 14 points ago +14 / -0

They have alternative sources of "funding" that would make us ill if we knew the scope and origins of it. The good news is that the masks are off. We now know them as the confirmed enemies. Wish that we could boycott them all, but it is somewhat difficult since they own most everything in our world.

bangbus 42 points ago +42 / -0

Has anyone threatened to sue? That seems like a breach of their terms and certainly doesn’t sound like it comports with the numerous representations they make when advertising the service.

27
deleted 27 points ago +27 / -0
17
bangbus 17 points ago +17 / -0

Day of the service costs like 35 cents. Sue on behalf a class of the 60 million subscribers. That’s close to $20 million. Take 40% in fees. $8 million. I could tolerate the hate for $8 million.

10
BigFreedomBoner 10 points ago +10 / -0

No - it doesn't work like that. The subscription isn't for a day. It is for a month. Damages are $15.99 per subscriber.

So that's $959,400,000 in damages

When a class is certified, then you can start stacking attorneys fees on top of that.

Oh yeah and wouldn't you know it, the attorneys fees are like $600-1000 an hour. And it is hard work finding all those 60 MM subscribers.

Could be wrong on some details - maybe there is a better class action expert than me on this DOM.

1
CuomoisaMassMurderer 1 point ago +1 / -0

Class action or not, if the service functioned normally the whole month except for one day, why would they owe anyone more than the 1 day cost of service? (35 cents)

Lots of other class action questions come up re: lawyers, plannedemic, and plannedriots.

2
BigFreedomBoner 2 points ago +2 / -0

Failure of consideration. The consideration was a month worth of service. Was a month's worth of service provided?

And if I take you argument well it wasn't even a full day it was denied, so 35 cents would be too much.

I contracted to have Apple Music on demand for a complete month. Tell me how they satisfied their obligation to provide bargained-for services under their monthly contract?

1
CuomoisaMassMurderer 1 point ago +1 / -0

I hope you're right. Per dium seems to be the way Courts look at such things. Seems they were thinking nobody would sue over 35 cents.

I'd love to see them buried under this ....

1
bangbus 1 point ago +1 / -0

You could only sue for the day it didn’t work, not the month. I had assumed it was $10 a month. You don’t get a separate hourly fee on antitrust plaintiffs cases, you just get a cut of the settlement or verdict.

None of the games my husband and I play did that to us.

I hate to say this, because as a gamer I know that everyone has different tastes and such, but at least in gaming it is avoidable; you just have to be willing to drop AAA titles like CoD and Fortnite. Again, I'm very sorry (I actually am, I wish they'd just let all of us play video games like we wanted), but try out games from other parts of the world and lesser known developers, or hell even older games that still hold up.

Escape from Tarkov is Russian so they don't care about any of this. A lot of the old Star Wars games still have ongoing communities. Any Japanese game is pretty damn safe, like Phantasy Star Online 2. Or hell, just stick to the slightly smaller AA studios: games like Risk of Rain don't have the development resources to do that kind of crazy shit at the drop of a hat.

But just so you know, if it doesn't hurt the player numbers for CoD that they did this, then they will do it again.

I'd like for us all to be Americans first.

2
Turtler 2 points ago +2 / -0

Exactly, hell, one reason for the Jim Crow era blood quotas was an attempt by Democrats to clarify who was white and who wasn’t because they did the math and realized that almost all of them would have at least some non-white blood in them, which would’ve freaked them the eff out. Lol

60
EastwoodUSA 60 points ago +63 / -3

This is what Democrats have reduced the African-American population to, it is a form of oppression, it brainwashes black youth to aspire to be like these gangbangers, in reality this puts them on a path of continual unemployment and into a life of drugs and criminality and eventually prison. Look at black Republican Conservatives to see how a functioning black family should be. Democrats = disfunction, confusion, victim illusion complex within black communities.

I disagree. He is saying that Europeans don't understand why you say "n-word" instead of nigger. That's wrong. Most Europeans know why. It's persecution. And it happens here just like it happened over there

took it as he’s looking at it from our point of view of constantly talking shit about how we have freedom of speech with the first amendment, which we all know is a joke and not true anymore at least in current year

You are wrong. You do have freedom of speech and the first amendment. That's the difference between us.

In Europe we dont. In my country thedonald.win could be declared illegal and would be taken down by police.

You are able to create free alternatives. We are not. Unless we host in the US.

That's one of the reasons I'm here. Our freedom depends on the US staying free.

I do agree on you being in a very bad place though. No doubt about that

It's an important difference: the law does not prosecute us.

The culture persecutes us.

Many are beholden to that culture, some of us are not. Without the law on our side, we'd have no way of regaining our freedom. We're in a pickle, but the evil doesn't deserve to win.

20
Wtf_socialismreally 20 points ago +25 / -5

It's out of respect. Older, younger, we were generally taught that it's not a nice word and shouldn't be used. Yes, you should be able to say it -- free speech and all -- but a lot of us still self censor, because A) it's not worth the indefensible misunderstanding or misrepresentation from other parties and B) we often don't believe using it is worth the offense that comes with it, because it's definitely an ugly word and we aren't actually racists -- contrary to the left's bullshit -- so we don't feel it's necessary to say the whole word.

8
JonahND 8 points ago +11 / -3

I respectfully disagree. It's all about control. Blacks sling around the N word like it's nothing, then act horrified when a white person utters it. It divides society. White kid grows up hearing his black friends say the N word in an endearing way, and one day he uses it the same way as them and is then crucified. It's a "gotcha!" used to purposefully divide us.

Fuck them. Nigger is NOT an ugly word in the way it is used today, and the only way for us to unite is for everyone to be free to say it

It's silly. It's just a word that basically means the same thing as "black" but of course when used to name-call someone it takes on a lot more negative meaning. Just referring to the word shouldn't necessitate having to not mention it, that's what little kids do. If you call someone that slur (or any other) be prepared for a backlash. But to limit speech when just referring to the word is asinine.

Apple doesn't have a misconception.

Apple has an agenda to push.

They are MK Ultra'ing the entire population -- pushing the idea that blacks are violent and racist.

The entertainment industry created that music in the first place.

It is controlled by people who hate America and who want to destroy it.

And those black squares?

Saturn. Just a facet of the black cube.

It's sad because black people have a beautiful history of music with some high quality and very successful talent. BB King, Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole, Louis Armstrong, Chuck Berry, Whitney Houston, etc. They should be proud of their musical heritage.

Like Aunt Jemima, Uncle Ben, and Gone With The Wind they are hidden as relics of the past that don't conform to the made up oppressed gangster culture they are now required to embrace.

10
Granny 10 points ago +10 / -0

Yes, boomer here. I want to know, were Stevie Wonder, Prince, Marvin Gaye and Michael Jackson included? The Temptations? If not, that playlist was pure bogus!!!

Black people are gifted with musical genius, and any "black playlist" that doesn't reflect that, is an outrageous insult to blacks!

I actually like Hendrix more than all of those I listed and yet I still forgot.

The list goes on and on. A playlist of black culture that is more than 25% rap is about as stupid and a disservice to black people as if there was a white playlist and it was all Nashville country music from the last decade.

This was clearly an idea of people who have no fucking talent.

And no fucking soul.

10
AsaNisiMAGA 10 points ago +10 / -0

This is a profound truth. I grew up in a family of jazz musicians. And they never cared about color. And they all remembered the days when half the band couldn't come into many venues through the front door. Or stay in the same hotel. They never cared about sex or gender or nationality or creed either. They only cared: did you have the chops? Could you play? If you could you were in the club. If not... they were still polite. But you weren't in the club. And yes, the idiots who made this list had an agenda. But no soul, no heart, and no knowledge either.

White people telling black people what it means to be black. And being black means the word "nigger" must be used over and over and over again. Because that's a world all black people use all the time. It's definitively not a caricature.

Apple is a racist company and deserves to die.

6
Losers_Arent_Winners 6 points ago +6 / -0

I used to transcribe music lyrics by ear last year to make some side money part-time. Everyone HATED to translate modern rap, not only because it would be hard as hell to hear what they're mumbling but also you had to get accurate what they're were talking about and get the correct spelling right. I had to research correct spelling for name brand luxury items like Gucci etc. had to look up caliber of bullets and brand names of guns, and the correct spelling of all these prescriptions pills they were abbreviating. It was hell. Black music that would come through from the 50's-80's was all upbeat, or had a wise positive message, or about love or heartbreak or hardwork.

Name one other music style that preaches violence, literally drive by shootings, fucking your best friends girl, corporate luxury clothing labels, killing cops, being in prison is cool, not having a wife and kids but doing prescription medication for fun. But no... it's totally not a cultural thing, it's why pee pole!

3
Southern_Belle 3 points ago +3 / -0

Bill Clinton and his music mogul friends started this crap.

It was deliberate.

It was brainwashing.

If you didn't perform gangsta rap, you didn't get a contract.

2
Losers_Arent_Winners 2 points ago +2 / -0

I heard something about that through an interview from someone in the industry at the time. Wonder how deep the Clinton's cartel was. Listen to modern rap if you haven't though it's even worse than in the 90's.

No Prince.

Pretty much a ban on talent. And here they claim big tech is against hate speech.

2
Bramble 2 points ago +2 / -0

Truly shows the racism of the left. Mostly ghetto rap with some Stevie wonder mixed in.

Most of the black people I know are metal heads.

1
CuomoisaMassMurderer 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yeah, I hate seeing all the people agreeing with the bs that "this IS black culture."

No it's not. White whigger kids probably make up more of the audience than black people do. The gangsta rap scene is a counter culture, and certainly not embraced by all black people in the US. It would be interesting to have accurate data on this ...

5
William_Minerva 5 points ago +5 / -0

Leftist argumentation right now is basically "we can't have standards because black people exist, if you want to have any standards that's racist." Hmmm :/

Seriously? That's what they think "black culture" is? N$#@A this, bitch/ho that? No mention of early black music? Or of the Delta Blues that was the building block for modern rock/metal/country music? Or Ledbelly, a huge influence to Kurt Cobain? Or gospel/spirituals which gave rise to the blues? No mention of jazz? No Motown, Soul, or R&B? Or even early hip hop? Or early rock pioneers like Chubby Checker, Little Richard, etc? No mention of "Mannish Boy", one of the most famous intro riffs in music history?

I find Apple's definition of "black culture" to be ignorant, stupid, perpetuating negative stereotypes, patronizing, insulting, and just plain racist.
