What's the context? I'm Army, I work at the Pentagon. I don't see any of the "wokeness" that you guys are talking about. Can someone please explain to a long time pede, what's wrong with Dr. Esper?
Honestly, I have no idea what anyone's political affiliation is. I'm in the Army G-3. Given what the left did to the G-3's brother, I doubt that particular Flag Officer is "woke".
Army labeled MAGA hats a symbol of White supremacy. Most people take that as election interference and an infringement on the 1st amendment. Also, those hats show support for the Commander & Chief of the US Army. Why would the army label them as a symbol of anything else?
They did? Can you send me the source? I am not tracking that. If so, then, I would agree.
Of course you can't wear them while representing the Army or in uniform. That's always been the case. But off duty, a soldier should be able to wear a MAGA hat.
Found it. Found It This wasn't "The Army" this was some zealot who happens to be IN the Army and exercised extremely poor judgement. 15-6 means that the Army is investigating it as a punitive incident.
Again folks, we need to be the ones toning down the rhetoric not pouring gasoline on the fire. The nation need to heal and grow and be great again. Look for hope and unity, not divisiveness.
The presentation was part of a new initiative, Project Inclusion, which was launched late last month to "promote diversity," examine "possible racial disparity within our justice system," and "conduct listening sessions with Soldiers and civilians worldwide to converse on race, diversity, equity and inclusion."
The whole thing seems like a social justice warrior convention. Of course, they hate Trump. The people who see Klansmen lurking in every corner also believe Trump is the Grand Wizard. The Army should scrap the whole program.
This “Inclusion” crap in the military is more divisive rather than inclusive. All you’ve done is open the arena to whiners and complainers to bitch about other soldiers and having to do things they don’t like.
15-6? Is that code for an “investigation” that will lead nowhere and we’ll never be updated.
I get your message of unity, but between that Navy Cpt’s bullshit, Milly apologizing for visiting a Presidentially significant church burned down by rioters that the government refuses to quell. Forgive us if we grow tired of being told to “hold out hope” that someone, some day, somewhere will somehow change all this right before the elections. Pfft!

Article 15-6 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice is an Investigation into misconduct. It's serious for whomever approved that MOI (Memorandum of Instruction). It's not court-martial (jail) serious, but it's career ending serious.
The level of scrutiny that DoD Senior Leaders get from the P.C. mob and Congress is way more than you could probably imagine. I'm not sure how much the public is aware of Senior Leaders being called to testify on different matters before various committees. One slip up gets ends your career or worse, the Micheal Flynn treatment. As a result, many leaders have become politically risk averse. Add to that GEN's Kelly and Mattis (both highly respected men) selling out to the swamp or doing the unthinkable and wading into the political quagmire.
Navy Cpt’s bullshit
What the Navy CPT did was only wrong because he used an unsecured network to relay his concerns and as a result they were leaked to the press. Had he valid concerns, he has a SIPR (Classified Network) with which to communicate those concerns to his Senior Leaders so that the Chinese and the whole world weren't told that a U.S. Carrier was combat ineffective. IMO he should have been charged (after the 15-6 Investigation) for transmitting classified information over and unsecured network (pretty much the same charge for Vindeman). Those are merely my personal opinions and I know that I may not have all of the information.
I don't disagree. I do believe that there is a Military Industrial Complex that makes a lot of money off of wars.
But why lump Dr. Esper into that category? He was Chosen by POTUS for promotion from SecArmy to SecDef, not a thread of evidence to support besmirching his character and T_D is not calling out the shills? I'm lost.
He is probably compromised. Like alot of the people that have been promoted. They stall the agenda at best. The swamp knows they cant change Trump's mind so they go after his picks.

The only place the Pentagon isn't woke is the smoke pit in the Courtyard.

OP. Can you link to whatever you are claiming that Dr. Esper did that was wrong?

*rioters nod in agreement with you

Pentagon is deeo state, the woke nonsense is kept out so they can keep the swamp working.
