It is. I don't understand the problem? Political correctness and cancel culture are the problem, not diversity and inclusiveness. I'm still looking for what Dr. Esper has done that's so wrong? Does someone have a link for context? I just see his photo.
I don't see any effort to purge Christian white men, I am both. I do see a lot of nonsense Marxist rhetoric that has fanned the left into a statue burning frenzy. I personally believe that the CCP is behind a lot of this unrest. I don't see any value in the right further fanning or exploiting racial tensions. We need to focus on unity and our common interests, not our differences. Just my 2 cents.
Uh...yeah not sure where you are getting your perceptions from. Most young white men are targeted for purging and discrimination by basically all institutions based their race and religion. Want an entry level job or internship? You're automatically placed at the bottom of the pile no matter your qualifications because they have to put women and minorities first. You may not believe in race or think it matters on a personal level, but the left thinks it does.
The CCP only has power in this country because our political class supports them.
Again, my only adult employer (except for a couple short breaks) is the Army. I do not share your experience but I can see that it is possible.
My biggest observation has been more generational. The millennial generation seems to have a lot of challenges that my generation (X) didn't have; especially when it comes to entry level jobs/ internships/ etc.
CCP: I believe (but can't discuss in depth) that the MSS has used the US Student Visa program to infiltrate universities, social media, and actual media. The swamp will take money from anyone, including the CCP. That's why I prefer 4Chan over traditional social media.
Just my point of view but the Army has been inclusive since I've been in 1991. I've served with members of every race, religion, and sexual orientation. I've known great leaders from each group. I've also known assholes from each group. I still don't see anywhere what Dr. Esper did that was so bad?
Perhaps? To us old guys inside the DoD "diversity and inclusion" = everyone is judged on their merits not their skin color, religion or sexual orientation. If some blue haired lesbian is screaming it on the sidewalk then it probably has a different meaning.
I've met Dr. Esper and he struck me as a good dude. He's a Ranger and Former BN CDR in the 101. If he says that the DoD welcomes diversity and inclusion, he's not being a SJW. He most likely means that we have a lot of Soldiers from diverse backgrounds and that are of them are welcome and loved. I still haven't seen what this is in reaction to.

"Diversity" is a lie and a code to purge Christian white men. That's it. Has nothing to do with promoting actual diversity or openness.

They are actively recruiting women into a military environment. What do you think that results in?
More female Service members? Two of which I've know personally to give their lives for their country. I don't see your point.
Political correctness and cancel culture are the result of diversity and inclusion.

Those meaning of those words has changed, much like the definition of racism.
They're code for wokeness.
