That helps BIG on your application. Honor Courage Committment are the anaby Core Values. Include them in the app along with what you learned from your military relatives (grandpa especially) and military family traditions and pride in country. Go down to the Navy office and ask to speak with Officer recruiter.... aviation if they have one. You will look for NRD in the Internet for the office. Keep trying, keep trying, keep trying. They put your name on a great pencil board and when a spot arrives, they will call the person who has been most vocal. You want to go to OCS (formerly AOCS) in Pensacola. The navy goes by demographics. Some months, they have spots for black females. Some months, white males. Sometimes one of each etc. If you are the persistent squeaky wheel, when your demographic appears as a “need” you will get the call. My recruiter literally called me in college (many moons ago) and said....”hey, we have a spot for a _____ _____ are you still interested?” I laughed and said yes!

Don’t say that in interviews or to recruiter. All political issues will hurt you in interview (yes we are in a hiper-charged-overpolitical-environment)..... you need to put everything in a box and just talk Honor Courage Commitment. If you say the word trump, or Biden, or anything political, the recruiter will deep six your app. Be the applicant that always wanted to join and always wanted to serve because of what you learned from your patriotic family.

Don't know if it matters in the long run, but I'd suggest deleting that last post.

Too much information if you do decide to apply.
