And women's liberation bullshit didn't start until AFTER that, and it was brought about by Communist infiltration, which happened because we didn't go all out against the Commies in the Korean War. There was no scenario in which we were going to steamroll the USSR in 1940's Europe. The biggest concern was the Soviets doing exactly that to us, which is why our government decided not to press too hard on anything. The 1950's was a different matter, where we had nuclear supremacy, bomber and fighter supremacy, and naval supremacy. Had we gone to war with the Soviets and China over their attacks on our troops in Korea like we should have, we'd have obliterated them. There was little or no infiltration at that time.
