We also hardly go out. Buy store brand food aside from obvious stuff that tastes way better name brand. We periodically shop at the goodwill and salvation army. Garage sales. We treat ourselves every once and a while to celebrate special moments like birthdays. Facebook marketplace is great for things that aren't brand new. We sell stuff on the side.
All in all we are happy and some accuse of us white privilege time to time. I lived in like 30 apartments growing up in a divorced family with an alcoholic dad. Fuck the haters. We've earned it.
