Goya is America’s largest Hispanic owned food company, a major supplier for Latin America. Its founder immigrated from Spain to Puerto Rico.

I'm Puertorrican so I know Goya since childhood. There will be no real boycott of this company. They are engrained in our culture.

If your kids like french fries, add Adobo to them instead of salt! Adobo has salt, pepper, garlic, and other seasonings in a balanced mix for a delicious new taste. And the goya website has recipes! Kidney beans are full of lectins, avoid these. Stick with beans that are safe to eat raw. If you must eat beans do 3 soaks in a 24hr period with baking soda. Wash each time thoroughly. This will remove many of the lectins. Cook in a pressure cooker and most will be gone. Was a veggie for most of my life until my GI issues became too much. Check out the work of Dr Gundry. When warehouses were emptying of basic food stuff early this year, Goya was bringing in extra trucks. My stupid joke when someone asked me a question at work became; You need to ask someone else, I work for Goya now.

HEB sells frozen Goya taquitos. Way better than those other shitty brands, although still a frozen taquito. More smokey flavor in the meat and better tasting tortilla.

They are by far the best beans. If you are not familiar with Goya I recommend their Bacalaitos and ready to eat rice. Malta Goya is a great drink.

Over my cold dead puertorican hands am i gonna give up Goya. Their product might not always be a hit (not a fan of their tostones) but those fucking beans are worth it. And their taquitos too. And their bacalaitos. And their sofrito. A lot of my cooking basics are supplied by Goya and I will not give them up no matter what AOC says.
