So a schizophrenic person killed himself. If he wasn’t getting effective treatment then suicide isn’t really a surprise. We need some serious mental health reform in this country, but it’s not racism.

I have no doubt that the cause of his mental distress will be attributed to institutionalized racism; or that he couldn’t get the help he needed because of racist policies.
