I live in a "don't leave home unless you really need to" blue city. In the past week I drove an hour south to be with family for a couple days, and we had a GREAT time. Then I drove to another part of the state and hiked twelve or thirteen miles in various parks over a two day period. Along the way I enjoyed local eats as well as long drives down country roads.
Now I'm decompressing for the rest of the week and weekend. I'd be even more relaxed if not for the latent annoyance with Covid fearmongers and Marxists though...but it's better than it was before. In any event I'm feeling good and ready for the rest of the year.
