Totally hear you man, I was an atheist for a long time, but I realized I would rather live as if there was a god, than live for nothing, sounds kind of stupid, I know. But if you find the right one, the community of a church is so amazing (beware the money grabbing mega-churches). Plus the Bible itself is a great work of literature that really builds the soul and helps connects all of western literature and culture. The lessons it teaches (regardless of whether you believe or not) are guaranteed to improve your life and make you happier and healthier both physically and spiritually... why do you think the Marxist’s go after it? Because it promotes strong, independent and self responsible people.
