However, it was clearly well received by many Americans (did well in focus groups), and then Biden used this comparison in 2014. Wow he's so down to earth and real - speaks his mind - Biden is an infrastructure genius!
Trump again used this comparison during the 2016 election, but of course the media was ready to confront him over his bashing of our country. Some even pointed out that Biden said such things in 2014, but of course they failed to recall that Trump started this comparison in 2011.
Trump mentioned this comparison in a 2011 interview with Candy Crowley. However, I'm unable to find that entire interview and wondering if CNN has worked the pull that part. At least there are many other sources discussing the 2011 statement by Trump.
