I prefer to call it Independence Day and that comes from my parents who also called it Independence Day because it's not just a day when we happen to go have a barbecue, it's about recognizing our heritage and history and the meaning behind the Fourth of July.
I do understand your point, but we're in America, so when we say Independence day we mean our own.
Ordered some hand soaps from bath and body works back around the start of the quarantine, when you couldn’t get any in the local stores. They rewarded me with a ‘message from our ceo’ speaking the ‘blm’ mantra, a week or two ago. In addition to mouthing the mantra, they informed me they were donating a bunch of money to left wing orgs. Done with them myself.
What's wrong with saying independence day? I like it, brings back memories of when we saved earf from aliens
yeah i thought independence day was more descriptive that the fourth?
I have to disagree here, pede.
