Any pedes know of any online conservative programming hubs or local NJ/NYC/Philly area networks dedicated to conservatives in tech.

I've been seeking a tech co-founder for an existing econometrics business with revenue (got furloughed from my lunatic progressive company and branched out on my own and some clients followed me and now growing). Haven't been able to find a co-founder with conservative values or at the very least, someone not a leftist. I'm in the NJ/NYC region and though I've come across many full stack programmers that are great, I don't like their attitudes. I find many of them to be over-confident, egotistical and only motivated by a startup lifestyle that may give them the next social media platform. To summarize it, none of them are interested in small business or business-to-business platforms.

I've taken time to learn who they are and only bring up history, politics and business ethics at the end. Hardcore leftist attitudes towards working with anyone with an opposite viewpoint or belief. No understanding of business. Despise Trump or anyone who would vote for him. I would hate to work with these people, let alone partner with them.

Appreciate any feedback in the forum or feel free to message me. Thanks.

By the way, if one doesn't exist. Maybe it's time we create one.

One tip I could give is that college educated programmers tend to be leftists due to how their degree is set up. Unlike engineer programs, computer scientists are forced into the Bachelor in Letters and Sciences -- which means a lot of required credits dedicated to indoctrination into the humanities and social sciences. Whereas engineer majors can focus mostly on STEM-related course loads.

So, instead, you could try to look for self-taught programmers who don't have a degree or dropped out. It's easy to prove proficiency in coding without a degree by having them do a pre-employment coding exam. (Side note: A lot of coders with degrees still suck.) These types of people tend to be more independent and self-sufficient when it comes to general attitudes, which tends to be a more naturally conservative mindset.

THIS! It's been a real struggle for me to find anything as a self-taught because, anecdotally, nobody is willing to "train" anybody anymore. I've got TONS of passion for learning, which conveniently goes against the traditional leftist dogma of "sit down and shut up, you do what we say" type attitude. We need more people who are willing and able to learn things ON THEIR OWN and not be "hand-held" the whole time.

I would also try to reach out to local technical colleges! Lots of good level headed people there...

Been looking for the same thing. Would be great if we could get a programming.win community or something someday. I hate how the left has taken over our industry.
