What variety Goya beans would anyone recommend for use in some beef tacos? Got a taco craving for the weekend.

I use black beans.

The frijoles, not the negros unless you're making chicken tacos, the regular frijoles are best for beef.

Get some of their Sazon seasoning for the meat as well. You'll thank me later.

You'll thank me later.

They will, because it makes things delicious, and nobody realizes it's mostly the dreaded MSG. 60% less sodium than salt, 60% more flavor. Zero side effects.

It's pure powdered deliciousness. Reminds me that I need to order some.

I usually just buy accent, but I'm gonna have to stock up on Goya products anyway and it's a great blend for beans and soups.

I got some! Can't wait to try it out. You usually do (1) pack/pound of meat or so?

Yup! That should do it.

Just ate a couple phat burritos with Sazon on the beef. Pretty legit, thanks.

Glad you enjoyed it! Goes great in chili and big batches of beans as well.

The red ones, called "kidney" beans because of their shape.
