The Paycheck Protection Program was the only help we got as a small business and a Corona Relief Grant from the SBA. Both helped but were only useful for 1-3 months.

Where the small businesses are crushed while the big corps and pharmas are constantly bailed out on the dime of the people. The theory is supposed to be that with these bailouts, more people should be hired, etc... more jobs, you know the line. However, instead of using that money to bring in more jobs and increase the economy, the CEOs and their higher-up friends pocket the money and spend it on themselves.
Yep. There were reports a couple of weeks ago that lenders were prioritizing bigger loans as well so they could get more commission. Loans under $1 million were put to the back of the line.
the deal is that it's a loan and it is forgiven if they retain their employees. since Snopes did not retain employees they will have to pay the money back.

Short answer? Cause Trump didnt fire EVERYONE. He needed to drain the bureaucracies. All of them, firing at least everyone hired under Obama. He didnt, so the bureaucracies have been at war with him for years.

(These are, of course, the prevailing characteristics of the "swamp"...and the reason rational patriots hate it.
