If they funneled all of their resources into trying to win a senate seat or two they would have so much more influence. Gary Johnson could have won a senate seat from a Democrat in New Mexico, how many senate votes come down to 1 senator?
Having the swing vote would be an immense amount of political capital. I'm just some random fucking person and I understand this, yet they spend millions on these fruitless presidential campaigns.
