I’m a California Republican but I grew up socially Liberal.
What woke me up politically was the 2A process of buying a firearm in California. Before that, even though I was Pro-2A, I stupidly supported “reasonable common sense restrictions” on firearms.
And the fact that I couldn’t buy either of my dream guns (Barrett .50 Cal and KAC SR25) just because some politicians thought they were “scary,” was bullshit.
Now I want every single anti-2A law right off the books. Constitutional 50 State Carry. Machine guns. Suppressors. All of it.
The funny thing was hearing lib people I know bitch about how ridiculous getting a gun is. They're buying them after seeing all the riot stuff going on. "It takes too long" "it's so much paperwork" "why is it so complicated?"
So fucking dense. I'm sure they'll leave whatever state they're in after it's destroyed and keep voting the same way too.
