You just got my attention. This POS is now directly threatening my livelihood. About half my income is from firearm restoration and refinishing and most of what I require is bought via the internet since so much of it cannot be obtained through commercial distribution channels.
All they’re doing is making honest hard working people like myself defacto-felons like with the bullshit laws Kalifornia enacted on AR-15 owners, especially those of us with 80%’ers. The constitution prohibits all ex-post-facto laws which is why everyone I know refuse to submit to their mandatory registration of 80% lowers and confiscation of legally owned high cap magazines.
The recent riots which came within 2 miles from my home reinforced my resolve in refusing to abide by such illegal and unconstitutional bullshit. Molon Labe.
The internet is also vital to the economic future. Being unable to buy gun-parts or ammo online would be a massive drawback in our ability to find equipment, get competitive prices, reviews, or even innovation.
And by innovation I mean stuff like this, which I'd have to imagine wouldn't even exist without online sales.
Regardless of his proposed restrictions, 95% of them wouldn't really have much impact on someone who wanted to go shoot up a place, other than make it more expensive.
I'm not even sure why his campaign is pushing this. Was there some school shooter that bought ammo online or some shit? Does his campaign understand online gun purchases still have background checks and have to be shipped to a federally licensed agent and not directly to peoples homes?
