This is kind of a hard one to explain but Hawley sent this letter to the NBA's commissioner. As you can see while it does ask about supporting police and armed forces the main focus is asking if players can wear statements standing against China on matters like Hong Kong and the Uighurs. The letter was circulated by a press release and on ESPN's internal email. Woj (breaks a lot of NBA stories) responded with "Fuck you". This started making the rounds on twitter and mods of /r/NBA wouldn't allow any post with China in the title. As you can see the one post they did allow omitted China from the title.
Since Darryl Morey tweeted Free Hong Kong at the beginning of the season the users of /r/NBA have always been against players, coaches, media and the league kowtowing to the CCP and their human rights abuses. But here, the mods actively suppressed headlines and in effect duped the users into supporting someone saying fuck you to causes they support.
Morey was a PR disaster for the NBA and if this story was told truthfully or the users read the letter themselves it would be a similar story. I think it's ridiculous they are applauding as is but the mods running cover for the NBA and CCCP is out of hand.
Because it's the only one that doesn't have China in the title. It makes it seem as if Woj is only saying fuck you to him for asking if players can support police and military. Yet it omits that the Senator was mainly asking if players could support similar civil rights and racial discrimination causes in China like Hong Kong and the Uighur internment.
The one directly below it is just a bad title but every other red link fits their rules for posting. There's also about a dozen more I couldn't get in the screenshot from different twitter accounts and websites that were also removed.

I got banned from r/sports about making a Corona virus joke on the perfect NBA bracket
Judging by the pic they are just removing duplicate posts. It looks like the top post is untouched.

Good point.
