What books have you guys read that are on topics such as Washington in the revolutionary war, the constitutional convention etc etc?

I was looking at one called Washington’s Farewell: a Warning to Future Generations, but heard it leans pretty left despite claiming to be objective.

I have this urge to learn about how our country came to be, especially now that Trump is trying to save it from the radical Left. I took the constitution classes from Hillsdale College and found that I love the subject.

1776 by David McCullough. Never boring for one minute. Just an overview of that whole year. Mostly about how Washington evaded the British with a depleted army. Really entertaining book
