Would you all just take a breath and be still? This is a stop-gap measure. Before you stop the bleeding you must first cover the wound. Worst case scenario he legalizes them all...now he can use that as leverage to shut down the borders or do something else on the MAGA agenda (MAGAgenda?). The reality is they're already here and it'll be too sticky to deport them, so might as well settle for a compromise.

I don't agree with giving a single DACA citizenship. Reagan gave amnesty, in exchange for building a wall. But look what happened. You will say to me they are not the same thing, but the philosophy is the same. If he legalizes them all, that still is not a guarantee that the border gets shut down, that is making a promise with the Devil.
The US citizens should not have to bear the consequence of DACA parent's actions. Mexico should bear responsibility for their citizens. If there are great DACA persons with high education, then Mexico should welcome them. Bring the MAGA movement to Mexico, where is the love for their own home country?
This reminds me of the Gumbal Migration video. All the good people leave, and the source country gets a major brain drain.
