I’m seriously debating on making a stand with my tax dollars this December. If our schools don’t open in Texas, I may not pay my taxes for them.

I think we can help make that stand together as a country. We pay for these schools and they take more taxes than my house, but I’m supposed to keep paying when nothing is open. That’s a load of BS.

We play cancel culture with leftist businesses, we should do it with our schools. They cannot win this if we just start fighting back.

Demand a property tax reimbursement. Also federal education dollars should go to parents who have to stay home to home school their children, not to closed schools.

Agreed. If my wife has to be teacher then I want the salary. Let’s see how fast these leftists teachers want schools back open.

As soon as teachers unions find out they are losing government money, the schools will open.

Teachers should not be paid their full salary when not in the classroom. The online programs aren't really teaching like you would be in person & having interactions.

Not the hill to die on as the system is setup to take property for non payment no matter the reason.

You don’t pay, they sell the tax certificate off to an investor which will have foreclosure rights after 3 years.

You right, because nothing is worth dieing for? We just keep playing nice and sucking it up. If enough people do it, the government is screwed. The problem is we all talk big game and yet we do nothing but wait for someone to do it for us.

Pull your kid out of school and homeschool them independently. Schools receive funding based on enrollment and attendance.
