You don't put a first time offender (he's almost certainly not one of those) who commits assault and battery on camera at a major corporate department store on bail for $200,000 if you're going to put him on probation. He also evaded law enforcement and they put out a reward for his arrest. He's more than likely doing some real time. Not 10 years but 3-5 for a sentence is not out of the question.

Absolutely correct. The $200,000 bail is a DEAD GIVEAWAY that they aint playing.

I'd say that a civil suit was also in order except that he probably has jackshit to his name and nothing to go after.
