You don't put a first time offender (he's almost certainly not one of those) who commits assault and battery on camera at a major corporate department store on bail for $200,000 if you're going to put him on probation. He also evaded law enforcement and they put out a reward for his arrest. He's more than likely doing some real time. Not 10 years but 3-5 for a sentence is not out of the question.
Wishful thinking. young black men do not do serious time unless they do truly serious crimes. This guy will get a slap on the wrist, he may do a few months somewhere.

I don't care what sentence he gets so not wishful thinking. Explain the $200,000 bail in this case then and how that jives with a slap on the wrist.

Its Michigan. He'll be out monday after bail is set and it'll be waived down to juvie. I hate to be pessimistic, but I fear it's the truth.
