libertarianism (note small 'l') is great. The Libertarian Party lost its marbles some time around September 11, 2001 and has never looked back.

I remember when they finally removed their "open borders" plank from their platform in the late 1990s, because they were finally waking up to the reality that postutopian dreams weren't suitable for right-now's political policy. Sadly, they went straight back to virtue-signaling and then dropped a few LSD tabs too many.
