To be clear, I don't think that society will ever exist, for the same reasons why socialism or communism doesn't work. Property rights and the ability to say "no" to others is absolutely fundamental to a peaceful and prosperous society.

To be more specific, I imagine something like two cities, Commutopia and Libertopia, and each has their own Communist or Libertarian constitution and law. Commutopia is certainly allowed to be communist within their border, but once you leave Commutopia or enter Libertopia, you have to leave that behind and agree to the Libertarian rules.

I don't think Libertopia would survive for long if they allowed people to come in and change the rules at will. "Libertopia2" with strong "get off my lawn" borders would absolutely out-compete "Libertopia1" with weak-borders, simply because the open-borders policy leads to tragedy-of-the-commons.
