Similar thing happening to me in Oregon. I could normally get around pretty easily without a mask, but now it’s “law” (yeah right lol) went to firestone to get some work done on my car, bitch immediately started harassing me where my mask was. I told him I didn’t have one, and continued asking about my appointment. He ignored me and was fumbling for a mask to hand me, and I just left.
Eventually found a local shop that didn’t give a shit, owner wasn’t even wearing a mask. Really liked it, I need to get a tune up and transmission flush too, and I’ll be going back there for both.
Yeah I just can’t understand business who behave this way, and not just with masks but any sort of self imposed rule related to the virus. Like restaurants who have closed indoor dining while their competitors down the street are fully open for business. I literally leave and walk next door to their competitor who isn’t going to require a mask or who will let me inside. I want to ask the owners if they enjoy losing money and flushing it down the crapper.
