I stopped watching and caring about sports when they started getting overtly political. A shame too.. I was into them.
I watch baseball still, usually I'll mute it and play the radio commentary though. The radio broadcasters have to stick to the game for the most part and in my opinion tend to be more based.
I love playing baseball/softball, but I've never been able to get into watching it on TV. I think the pace is just too slow (for me anyway :))
Also you get the regional sound of all the local broadcasters and not the generic vanilla tone and speech pattern of national broadcasters. When I was trying to learn Spanish I would watch a lot of the Dodgers games with the Spanish commentary on, lol.

Children are the least at-risk members of the population and keeping them from attending school during a critical developmental point in their lives will have far greater consequences than the potwntial for them contracting C19. If adults can shop at Walmart and Home Depot or attend a demonstration screaming shoulder-to-shoulder with strangers, kids can sit in rows at school.

I used to have Grizzlies season tickets. I also used to go to 3-4 Titans games a year and at least 1-2 Braves games. I watched every game of all three that I did not attend.

Sports are forever ruined by politics. I used to love Sports and then all this SJW bullshit has been slowly creeping in. I can tell you straight up that if the NFL goes through with playing an additional national anthem and allows their players to kneel for the American anthem, I will never watch it again.
Edit: I can't wait for the Left to tell all the rich players they need to donate 90% of their paychecks to liberal causes to pay their fair share and watch them freak out.
