I'm not a religious person by and large, but I believe in good and evil, and at this point, I get the feeling that there is more than a touch of the divine happening with Trump. The profound evil on the other side leaves me with no other explanation.
Well, if you're a believer in the god of the Bible for example, it would make perfect sense for Trump to lose and the world to devolve into marxist choas.
I'm pretty sure the Bible is clear that shit goes WAY south before it's over.
For this reason, I believe that either 1) The Bible isn't true or 2) We are on our own, and it is, and we're probably soon to be very fucked.
I'm not a Christian, nor a follower of any mainstream religion. I have an eclectic set of beliefs based on my own experiences and views. I do believe in the Christian ethics, but I believe that good can and will conquer evil as long as enough people are made aware. There is no predetermined fate.
If the Bible is true, it would make sense for the world to delve into chaos right now - it's the beginning of the end.
What I don't understand is the idea that "God is on our side and things will get better" - does the Bible support that notion? It is all going to end, and it's going to end in ruin. God being on our side doesn't necessarily mean it's going to get better.
I should note I'm not a scholar on the Bible or anything, I just know Revelation describes pretty shit times.
Or, we're just not aware of the true depths our society has sunk to because the truth is so well hidden from us. If Trump had not won in 2016, would we even be getting the small glimpses we've gotten so far? FFS, Epstein and his accomplice would still be doing their thing exploiting children, Podesta the Molesta would be secretary of state, traveling the world with diplomatic immunity free from customs or searches, and we'd have a satanic cannibal as POTUS with Huma Abedin by her side.
I don't believe it'll happen, honestly.
I tihnk we're on our own - we're going to have to 1776 our way out of this shit.

If the world is devolving into Marxist chaos, why would that make the Bible “not true”?
Other way around.

In that case, god needs to stop being a jerk and just end this planet. No reason for the good to suffer the wicked's machinations.
The massive, I mean truly massive, odds that he has already overcome to date also indicate a divine presence.
