Asking for a friend.....what is Adobo?

It's got MSG in it, so it's like a flavor enhancer and can be used like salt and pepper basically. There's adobo seasoning and adobo sauce. Adobo sauce is what you'll find surrounding canned chipotle peppers. It's great for lots of uses. One really easy thing to do is take a can of chipotles in adobo sauce, puree it in a small food processor or blender, and then rub it all over some skirt steak. Let that marinate (covered) for a few hours in the fridge, then scrape off most of it and grill that skirt steak to a nice medium rare. Slice against the grain (very important) and I like to cook the remaining marinade in a foil pan on the same grill the meat cooks on and then put the sliced meat right back into the now cooked marinade. Serve with some fresh tortillas, and whatever fixings you like. Or just some black beans and corn on the cob.

As far as the adobo seasoning, next time anyone make tacos put a half teaspoon of that in the beef as it's cooking. You're welcome!

It's seasoning without MSG - Lots of people can use it without negative side effects.

Yes. Let's not forget GOYA is an American product.

On Bongino's podcast from yesterday, he said that he loves it and actually takes some folded up in a napkin when he eats out. I am gonna buy some.

Like an all purpose seasoning. Meats, fish etc.

It’s basically super salt. It’s ground really fine and it has msg and spices added to it. So it’s very flavorful and easy to have a heavy hand with it. I’ve bought the pepper kind for years. Just found the Lemon Pepper flavor last week.

The anti-boycott is truly the way to go. Reward those who stand with America once the traitors become too numerous to count.

your rice dish low key looks so perfect it looks like something you'd see on the cover of a magazine or box of rice in the grocery store or stock photo. Well done.

Get some Goya Garbanzo beans and make some Hummis you just some Tahini

I also recommend some Chicken, beans, and rice using Sazon and some capers

Sazon is such a cool secret ingredient, you can use it in chili and a lot of other dishes. It's got a spicy lime type flavor and also contains MSG. Do not be afraid of MSG, it's in a lot of stuff you already eat and is probably why that restaurant food you crave is so delicious. Just don't go crazy with it!

There was a big MSG scare in the late 80's that ended up being bullshit.

Isn’t hummus like a terrorist organization in the Middle East?

I make a mean paella but man it's a bit of work and sourcing the ingredients is a job unto itself. I have a 16" paella pan that's seen a lot of use, also great for making a deep dish pizza.

Nice granite, it looks similar to what we have in our kitchen. My wife picked it out because she said it had "movement", whatever the hell that means.

Great camouflage. My husband can't tell when the counters needs cleaning. Which reminds me...

Same granite, and this would be my comment, lol.

Don’t underestimated nachos with mashed-up beans...salsa, chips, sour cream, mashed-up beans maybe some guac, maybe some cheese...easy meal - good protein...need a bigger meal? Heat-up some burrito shells with it...kids even like it.

That sounds supreme, nacho.

I steered away from those funny looking cans and the funny looking name in the past. Not anymore. 🌮

Love the cans are "pop-up". No Can-opener needed.
