This. Limp wristing a pistol is a sure fire way to induce a failure to feed or a stove pipe malfunction.

Also, these failures are easily remedied, usually a "tap and rack" will get you up and running again. Train for this.

You can do an extra thick coat of CLP by swiping them down 2 or 3 times, then store them for a year or two (recommend a good desiccant in the container to keep them dry). Or, pull them out quarterly and give them a good tear down and cleaning and a normal coat.
