I remember voting absentee in 2012 while in Afghanistan. Texas had quite a few down ballot options. Many local and state races had three choices: R, D, and Tea Party. I remember thinking I had no idea which to choose from between the R and the T. I chose R just to make sure my vote didn’t split the R vote and give the win to the D. We can’t let that shit happen again with things like the “Lion Party” I keep seeing here.

You're right, the republican party is reform-able, but I have a feeling the dems will split before long. I used to think the two party system was bad, but I realized even fewer people get what they want when there are a plethora of parties, just look at europe
