Remember a few years ago when movies were being crafted to be more appealing to Chinese audiences, with simpler jokes and plot lines? I wonder who's going to watch movies with a black lead, or a lesbian cast. If it's a great movie, then America and Europe certainly, if only as a curiosity. But if it's not great, people will learn quickly that the woke movies are not worth seeing. I don't think Chinese audiences want to see these movies either. I haven't seen "Get Out" but even a good horror movie's audience doesn't get larger by woke casting.
