The employee isn't a security guard. He talks into his walkie Talkie. It appears he gets there when the guy with the knife is leaving. Maybe it scared him off.

It doesn't appear he was a security guard or was just watching it happen. It appears he did step in. It appears the man was fleeing in part from him (as he arrived later). He checks briefly on the victims before seeing where the guy was going to. He called it in.

There is one dude just filming it and about a dozen more cowering in the corner. Let's not pretend an unarmed employee is the only one that could have done more.

He is an MTA EMPLOYEE. They have the same protection as cops. If you hit or stab one the crime is same as a cop which is a big deal still.

Anyway they used to keep fights down too but it’s every man for himself now

I didn’t see him even there when they did a scan of the room. It seems he stepped in right away. It’s hard to tell.

He isn’t armed and they’re told to not engage physically. They should be armed and they should be told to engage. I agree.

When they scanned the crowd I couldn’t see the employee. How long was the employee there, when did he arrive, and why don’t you care no one else did anything?
