you need to understand you are not trying to win an argument, you are trying to appeal to your opponent, if you go into an argument trying to win, know there can only be one winner, and the mind hates to lose, so cognitive dissonance will set in, and that will lead to anger, you must appeal to them, and slowly gain their trust. Hey man, I was struggling with the fear of everything until a friend of mine exercised a demon from me and reminded me that God is in control and has a plan. Trust God, my friend. He will lead us where we need to go. Use your work towards love, as God is love. All will be well!
God would not have given you this challenge if he did not think you could overcome it. There are hundreds of millions of people in this country you have not met yet. Look at this as an opportunity to make real friends without having your old "friends" limiting your social bubble. They don't have to be Trump supporters, but they should be open to your opinions without being hostile.
When I get down, I think of our forefathers, those literally fighting to create a uniquely free country and all they went through. From the little pilgrims crossing the vast ocean to a 'new world,' not knowing what they'd get when they got here (starvation, disease in many cases) to the minute men who were regular guys who just wanted to live free and were ready to do whatever they had to do to part this country from England to create a new country. And going back through history, I think of the Christians who were literally thrown to the lions to entertain the evil elites of their day, just because they believed that Jesus was who He said He was (God.) So yes, this is very tiring and it's gotten very, very old. But pede, even still, we've got it good. You do have friends here, and you can reach out to any one of us (or a bunch of us) any time for support, to chat, for encouragement, etc. All of this sucks, but always remember, God wins. I feel your pain, man. My own wife, who I usually agrees with about pretty much everything, is a bit of a germaphobe/super protective mother bear, so this Chinese virus has really got her fucked up.
She won’t go anywhere or take our kid anywhere, and if I go out she tries to make me strip down all of my clothes and wash my hands when I get back. We’re all healthy with no underlying conditions and it just feels ridiculous to me. I also had a gnarly cold early in the year that affected nearly everyone at my work, so for all we know, it could have already run through us.
I feel like I’ve lost my best friend and confidante to propaganda. It sucks. It’s gotten to the point where I refuse to talk about COVID with her anymore. I try to make her realize that the news is never going to come on and say “Okay, everything is fine now, go ahead and resume your normal lives!” They want to keep us in fear for as long as possible until they can move on to the next fear campaign. I’m afraid that she’ll never fully return to normal and get a babysitter so we can go out to dinner or anything like that.
It’s good to have a place where we can just vent and know we’re not alone when it feels like the whole world is turning it’s back on normal life.

We are on a downward slide to a moment of truth and ultimate reckoning. It's hard to see it any other way. The two sides are very far apart. One side is clearly pushing for blatant communism. One side is clearly pushing for blatant free market capitalism. The idea that we will meet somewhere in the middle is almost laughable at this point.
We have seen serious street violence over the last few years. You would have to be brainwashed by the media to believe that wasn't true. There has been armed combat happening in Portland and places in California for years now. The left absolutely embraces violence and enjoys state support of their tactics. The right enjoys no such support.
Your not alone, always fight, it’s you duty and reaching out for help here you will always find it.

I feel your pain, man. My own wife, who I usually agrees with about pretty much everything, is a bit of a germaphobe/super protective mother bear, so this Chinese virus has really got her fucked up.
She won’t go anywhere or take our kid anywhere, and if I go out she tries to make me strip down all of my clothes and wash my hands when I get back. We’re all healthy with no underlying conditions and it just feels ridiculous to me. I also had a gnarly cold early in the year that affected nearly everyone at my work, so for all we know, it could have already run through us.
I feel like I’ve lost my best friend and confidante to propaganda. It sucks. It’s gotten to the point where I refuse to talk about COVID with her anymore. I try to make her realize that the news is never going to come on and say “Okay, everything is fine now, go ahead and resume your normal lives!” They want to keep us in fear for as long as possible until they can move on to the next fear campaign. I’m afraid that she’ll never fully return to normal and get a babysitter so we can go out to dinner or anything like that.
It’s good to have a place where we can just vent and know we’re not alone when it feels like the whole world is turning it’s back on normal life.

The hardest steel is forged in the hottest fire. These times will to test us all. Just remember you're not alone in this fight and what's really going on. We're at war and the future of humanity is at stake. You're going to have bad days and hard months in the years to come. You gotta embrace it as much as you can. Part of why you're here. To grow from the fight. To get harder and stronger for the tougher battles always to come. It's what makes us better men. So keep your head up and your shoulders back. You take that shit to the face, you get back up and you ask for more because how you handle this will determine how you handle every other battle after this. We're with you all the way but you can and must dominate this. You'll thank yourself later. Make your ancestors proud.
