I've gone back and forth on the "Boomer" issue. My parents were boomers. My mom is in her 70's and works harder than most GenXers I know. She makes a hell of a lot less money than we do and the people she works with are chomping at the bit for her to leave so they can have her position. The problem is that she loves her job. She works with severely disabled kids and she's very good at it, mostly because she raised me and my retard brothers. My point is that she gets no respect because people, like the ones giving you abuse here, have decided that a "Boomer" is a bad person now. I assume most of them don't even know what a boomer is. Anyways, I have respect for my elders. I see you out here posting good points of view and I appreciate it. Don't let these little pussies get you down. There are plenty of us GenXers that have respect for our parents and their friends. Every one of these little shits, these little keyboard tough guys, would jump onto a city job with cushy benefits if they had the opportunity.
